Dr. Edwards is an Associate Professor of Anesthesia and a licensed clinical psychologist in the Pain Management Center at Brigham & Women's Hospital - Harvard Medical School. He attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham, completing a PhD in Medical Psychology and a Master's in Public Health.

After completing a postdoctoral fellowship in Pain Psychology at Johns Hopkins University, he worked as a psychiatry faculty before moving to Brigham & Women's Hospital in 2008. Working as a psychologist at the BWH Pain Management Center, Dr. Edwards assesses and treats patients with chronic pain patients and is renowned for his behavioural and medical services such as biofeedback and cognitive-behavioural therapy.

He also mentors junior faculty members in several research institutions, serves on the editorial boards of several pain and psychology journals, and has leadership positions in the American Pain Society (APS) and the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP).

While Dr Edwards has also published numerous scientific articles, reviews, and book chapters on pain.
His research involves individual differences in pain responses and the neurobiological mechanisms by which psychosocial processes shape those individual differences.

As an NIH-funded clinical researcher, his work focuses on biobehavioral aspects of acute and chronic pain and the impact of pain-related catastrophizing on neuroendocrine and inflammatory responses to pain. He also studies the individual differences in central nervous system pain processing and their implications for long-term pain-related outcomes.

Currently, Dr Edwards is involved in several post-operative pain studies whose aim is to identify factors that influence the trajectory of long-term pain. He is also involved in several studies that examine pain-related thoughts and emotions using functional neuroimaging techniques. Furthermore, his group of researchers is working on predicting and preventing the misuse of opioids by patients with persistent pain.

Last but not least, Dr. Edwards' research group conducts several randomized, controlled clinical trials on non-pharmacologic treatments for chronic pain.

Dr. Gary Krasilovsky's 40--year career has seen him don various roles as an educator, clinician, and researcher. He served as Associate Professor and Department Chair of the Hunter College DPT Program of the City University of New York from 1992 to 2018. He earned his PhD from New York University.

He previously was a senior physical therapist (PT) at New York University Rusk Institute for Rehabilitation Medicine and part-time PT in the Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Clinic.

Dr. Krasilovsky's research includes studies on EMG biofeedback for post-CVA patients (in collaboration with Dr.Joseph Brudny) and transcutaneous nerve stimulation for chronic pain. He also received advanced training and mentoring in the electrodiagnostic department, where he performed and trained medical residents on diagnostic EMG.

For a brief period, Dr. Krasilovsky served as the Chief of Physical Therapy at Norwalk Hospital in Connecticut. Returning to NYC, he joined the PT Program at Hunter College and taught clinical neurology, adult neurological rehabilitation, electroneuromyography, and therapeutic exercise.

Being certified as a Schroth scoliosis therapist, Dr. Krasilovsky has authored and published many insightful journals and textbooks on physical therapy and neuroscience. Over the years, he has worked on multiple versions of the EMG biofeedback system that is today JOGO- DTx.

Dr. DeAndre W. Caldwell works in Delaware as the Physical Therapy Program Manager of a large hospital-based outpatient physical therapy clinic. Dr.Caldwell is dedicated to helping people recover from orthopaedic injuries, back pain, and chronic pain. His prime objective is to treat his patients with the same kindness and compassion he would want for his mother. According to him, every pain is like the "check engine" light on a car, ready to be identified and addressed.

Dr. Caldwell achieves his passion for delivering exceptional care with his dual certification in mechanical diagnostics and therapy (MDT-McKenzie method) and therapeutic pain specialization (TPS). He regularly lectures in colleges and national conferences about treating spinal pathology and chronic pain treatment.

Dr. Caldwell has 18 years of experience working in rehabilitation. He has worked with the New York Giants and Magee Rehabilitation Hospital and has served the Smyrna-Dover area for over twelve years. DeAndre strongly believes that the body is adaptable, and there is often a chance for positive change.

Professor Emeritus Dr. Gordon Silverman is the "GO" in JOGO and the Chair of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Manhattan College. He, along with the late Joseph Brudny, M.D. ("JO" in JOGO), the former Director of the Sensory Feedback Unit at ICD Research and Rehabilitation Center in Manhattan, were the original pioneers of EMG biofeedback. Together, they created the first-ever fully-functional unit back in the 1970s.

Dr. Silverman's professional career spans over 50 years of corporate, teaching, consultation, and research. He has developed a range of scientific instruments, particularly in physiological psychology research environments. The author of more than 20 journal articles and books, he holds eight patents, some of which deal with behavior modification. He has also co-authored the book "Cognitive Science: An Introduction to the Study of the Mind."

Besides teaching at the Rockefeller University and Fairleigh Dickinson University, Dr. Silverman has a research interest in telemedicine, rehabilitation medicine, artificial intelligence, and biomedical instrumentation.
